Destination Sports is the only licensed outfitter offering full-day guided kayaking trips on the Weber River. We have private access to the longest floatable stretches of the Weber River from Henefer to Morgan.
We start our full-day trips in historic Henefer, Utah, with morning scenic floats along the Weber River with a backdrop of red rocks and arches, where we often site eagles, gees, and red-tailed hawks.
We take a break at Taggart, so you can enjoy a delicious made-to-order lunch at Taggart’s Grill restaurant.
*Please note that lunch is sold separately, and charged by the restaurant on-site.
After lunch and a little relaxation, we then proceed through another 6 miles, with three more class II+ whitewater rapids, along with some calmer stretches through the lower Weber Canyon that most don’t get to see. Our journey ends as the canyon opens up to the beautiful Morgan Valley.
We use AIRE Inflatable sit-on-top kayaks for this trip. For the best experience (and for most people, it’s also the easiest experience) we recommend each person paddle themselves in a single kayak. If you are hesitant to paddle yourself in a single kayak, it may be more appropriate for you to go on a paddle raft with a guide in the same boat with you.
Full-day kayaking trips have a 6-person minimum. If you do not meet this minimum, we may be able to group you with other guests. Please inquire.
