Weber River Utah Class II Whitewater Kayaking
with self-bailing sit-on-top inflatable kayaks in Henefer, Taggart, and Morgan
Kayaking is one of our favorite Weber River Adventures. Paddling your way down the “Mighty Weeb” is a wonderful way to spend a morning or afternoon. Destination Sports has been offering river kayaking tours and kayak rentals for over 20 years. Kayak rentals, tours, and private lessons are available to all guests, age 12 and older.
Our equipment is well maintained. Our experienced guides offer instruction on a variety of kayak tours, ranging from private lessons to half-day and full-day guided tours. Kayaking on the Weber River is appropriate for people with intermediate river kayaking skills or better.
If you are a beginner river kayaker, or have not paddled on the Weber River before, then we recommend a private river kayaking lesson. We will customize your lesson to fit your expectations and your skill level. Please call us for details.
For your comfort and safety, we use inflatable sit-on-top kayaks that are made for white water rivers (also known as “duckies” or “I.K.’s”). If your kayak flips, you simply fall off, and then climb back on. You do not need to know how to “roll” a kayak out of a flip.
We offer well-maintained equipment, easy instruction, and a wide variety of kayak tours ranging from half-day to full-day trips. We also offer combo trips that include horseback riding, mountain biking, and more. Guided river kayak trips are appropriate for people with intermediate river kayaking skills or better.
If you do not meet the minimum skills requirement, then a private river kayaking lesson is in order. Our private river kayaking lessons last for 1 – 3 hours and will be customized to fit your skill level and expectations.
For safety and comfort during casual river kayaking, we use and recommend inflatable kayaks (a.k.a. I.K.’s or duckies) that are whitewater rated. For your selection, we offer a variety of makes and styles of inflatable kayaks, including Aire, Tributary and Vanguard.
