Whitewater River Tubing Adventure for All Ages near Park City
Tubing with a Guide is recommended if this is your first time whitewater tubing on the Weber River, or if you have a group of varying abilities. Your tubing guide will offer assistance if needed (like when you flip off your tube, for example) from his or her kayak and will suggest the safest and easiest route selection. Remember that when river tubing, navigating is all up to you, to look ahead and use your hands to paddle out of the way of obstacles.
Depending on water flow, and how much you stop, these Weber River Tubing trips usually last about two and a half to three hours and cover eight miles with Class II and lower Class III rapids. We start our tubing trips at our private riverside Base Camp in Henefer, which gives you about 30 minutes more float time than if you go with our friendly competitors Barefoot Tubing or Weber Tubing, who start their trips at the public access site a few miles downstream from us.
As you pass through the beautiful Weber Canyon with its spectacular scenery, you will encounter white water rapids and strong currents that often push you towards rocks and tree branches. This can present intense challenges for some of our guests. For this reason, we recommend that tubers have some river skills or prior tubing experience.
If this is your first time, we recommend going in a raft with a guide, rather than tubing.
